Advocacy Day on the Hill Webinar
The purpose of the Webinar is to provide affiliate leaders with the tools they need to have a successful day of meetings on Capitol Hill. The one hour Webinar will be facilitated by Vince Randazzo, AIA Legislative Subcommittee Chair and Sara Weir of the National Down Syndrome Society Policy Center. All affiliates registering to attend the conference are encouraged to dial in to one of the Webinars to prepare for their meetings on the Hill.

The objectives of Advoacy Day on the Hill are:

  • Develop positive working relationships with key policymakers.
  • Support the public policy goals of our national advocacy groups.
  • Educate Members of Congress about the people, programs and resources in their communities.
  • Share affiliate leaders’ perspectives and expertise on public policy matters impacting people with disabilities.
  • Build long-term engagement that will produce sustainable results.
