The 2010 Conference @ The Westin Crown Center

The fourth annual Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action conference will be held March 18-21, 2010 in Kansas City, Missouri. The conference brings together nearly one hundred organizations for more than four dozen sessions and lectures. Participants consistently rave about the energy and focus the conference delivers to them and their organizations.

We encourage you to bring key decision makers in your organization such as Executive Directors, Board Members, Adult Self Advocates, Key Personnel, and Development Directors.

The Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action conference is unique. We truly believe we represent the organizations we serve. Our session schedule is created by affiliates from their own submissions and proposals in order to be as topical, relevant, and effective as possible.

If you are interested, please complete a Speaker Proposal to have your session considered for inclusion at the next conference in March 2010. Any Down syndrome parent group director, board member, staff person, self advocate, volunteer, or outside company/organization related to or recommended by an affiliate may apply.

The Westin Crown Center in Kansas City hosts our 2010 conference. The hotel boasts amenities such as a whirlpool, sauna, steam room, outdoor heated swimming pool, track, and tennis courts. Located in the heart of Kansas City, the hotel has access to fabulous shops, restaurants, and theatres as well as local attractions.
