In order to become a member of the Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action Trade Association, an organization must establish, to the Board's satisfaction, that it is a duly formed not-for-profit corporation with a Board of Directors responsible for setting policies, and that it is substantially devoted (at least 50% of its time and funds) to serving individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
