Leadership Institute

The 2009 AIA Conference Leadership Institute will provide an opportunity for staff and board members to learn the fundamentals or the “nuts and bolts” of nonprofit leadership and management.

On Friday, February 27th the Leadership Institute will convene a three hours workshop in the morning. Each participant who preregisters for the workshop will receive a CD with samples of the various documents discussed in the workshop. Jane Page-Steiner a nonprofit consultant and long time leader in the Down syndrome community will facilitate and lead the workshop. Seasoned affiliate leaders will also share their insights and thoughts on what they have learned over the years.

Thanks for all the work, time and tears that were involved in putting together AIA. There wasn’t one thing that needed to be changed. We know what it takes to pull all of this off and we appreciate the DSG and the AIA committee.
