Turn out the lights….the walk is over? No way! Instead, we’re all saying NOW that walk season is over we have to move on to other things, right? Oh, yes, we’ll all take a week or so to recuperate (and some of you still have a walk coming in the next few weeks). But no matter when your walk is, at some point end-of-year activities begin to monopolize your time. Many of you will serve on committees planning the annual holiday party. Others will hunker down to crunch numbers for the 2013 budget. Still others will evaluate software and other tech tools to make decisions for the future. It doesn’t matter what part you’re playing, I’m pleased to tell you that we have you covered. Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action has grown our libraries in the last 2 ½ years so much that it’s easy to find a resource for your immediate problem. No, we don’t have everything but we’re working on it!
For example, let’s say you’re in charge of the holiday social event in your organization. Well, you might want some ideas on invitations or maybe even a budget template. You’ll find those in the Repository! What if you would like some new ideas on organizing the event? We’re going to offer replays of this webinar on Wednesdays throughout the month of November, twice a day! Yes, it’s Webinar Wednesday centered on coordinating a successful and fun holiday party for your membership. (We’re giving credit to Robbin Lyons for coining the “Webinar Wednesday” moniker, LOL.)
But, we have too much information to just do one replay each week! You can watch this webinar on Mondays at 10 am or 7 pm from October 29th through November 19th. Hmmm…..not a member of DSAIA? We’re offering this webinar to nonmembers for a small fee.
