Do you ever feel like the days are just too short? Whether you are a staff member of a Down syndrome organization...or you cram your volunteer duties into lunch breaks and late evenings, you are always looking for ways to improve your productivity. Come spend an hour with us to learn a few ways that technology can help you "work smarter, not harder." From quick meeting options to workspaces that will keep your committee emails to a minimum, there's sure to be something new you'll learn during the hour.
About your presenters:
Dr. Jennifer Smolka has her Ph.D in Educational Computing specializing in tools for distance education. She serves as faculty for the College of Education at Walden University in the Educational Technology and Learning, Instruction and Innovation degrees. Her company 321 eLearning supports Down syndrome families and organizations with technology support and learning through webinars and the 321 eConference.
Deanna Tharpe is the Executive Director of Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action. She holds a B.S. in History and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management & Leadership. She has an extended background in broadcasting and journalism and utilizes her technology skills in the "digital nature" of DSAIA and its membership.
I continue to be impressed with the depth of the board/professional workshops offered.
