This series is for the novice fundraiser or those staff/board wishing to implement a true donor development plan for major and planned gifts in their organization.

Do you have a plan in place to identify, cultivate and solicit major donor gifts? The secret to obtaining major gifts (and even planned gifts) is building a lasting relationship with your donors. to begin? How exactly is it done? Who is responsible for the plan and its execution?

In this three-part series, you'll learn how to develop a plan which will take you through the four parts of a successful donor development initiative:

  1. Identifying your potential donors
  2. Cultivating those donors
  3. Soliciting those donors
  4. Implementing good donor stewardship

You'll learn how to pick your team, set priorities, set realistic goal amounts and develop a strategy for each donor as well as be warned of the pitfalls and how to avoid them. Attendees will you receive examples of forms/charts which to use in the process.
