This session will give you tools, methods and examples for conducting productive discussions with your board. These techniques can help you maintain engagement and build more effective decisions with better alignment and follow-up.

While each board situation is unique, there are a number of meeting principles and tools that can help in almost any situation. These tools are based on how you structure the discussions and do not require special training or a facilitator. This session will show you how using examples and approaches that you can put to work tomorrow.

Specifically, you will learn techniques for structuring nonprofit board discussions that enable you to:

  • Build clearer, more insightful decisions.
  • Generate constructive input on plans and proposals.
  • Manage outspoken individuals who tend to hi-jack discussions.
  • Maintain a productive discussion at the right level of detail.
  • Improve alignment and commitment to decisions reached.

We will hold a drawing for a free copy of Rick’s new book! Plus, here will also be a special discount for those who register and wish to buy the book.
