Everybody's doing a separate event for those runners in your area, all the while raising money and awareness of Down syndrome and your organization. Join DSAGC's Kecia Pringle as she shares her knowledge of organizing a local 5K by bringing attendees a do-it-yourself guide to planning and coordinating this type of event.

Participants will receive:

  • An overview of what it takes to coordinate a run/walk for your organization
  • Tips on how you can accomplish this with no it minimal upfront costs

About your Presenter:

Kecia Pringle is a Human Resources Manager for Harland Financial Services and currently serves on the board of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati. She feels passionate about sharing the positives of living and loving a person with Down syndrome. She has been actively involved in the Buddy Walk and organizes a 5K Race for World Down Syndrome Day. In addition she is involved with the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati, Cincinnati Works and the YMCA. Kecia and her husband are the parents of two sons, Myles and Anthony who was born with Down syndrome and they reside in Colerain Township.

I continue to be impressed with the depth of the board/professional workshops offered.
