In the last six months, the professional genetics and obstetrics organizations have issued position statements on the newest form of prenatal testing for Down syndrome. The new guidelines lay down the ground rules for the new age of prenatal testing for Down syndrome.
In this webinar, Affiliates will:
-- learn the basics about the newest form of prenatal testing for Down syndrome;
-- understand what the professional organizations recommend; and,
-- incorporate these new guidelines into effectively engaging in medical outreach and expectant parent support.
Affiliates engaged in effective medical outreach need to know what the new statements say about this new form of testing and what they recommend. Attending this webinar will equip Affiliate leaders with the most current information so they can engage their local medical communities with accurate information and provide needed support to expectant parents.
