Anna Moates is a recent 4 year graduate of the EAGLES Program at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. She was not only the first person with Down syndrome admitted to this program, but also the first person with Down syndrome to graduate from it! She loved being involved in many activities there, including: AU Baseball Diamond Dolls, College of Education Ambassadors, Auburn University Singers Show Choir,  Phi Mu Sorority and Auburn Community Church. She is currently working at Bitty & Beau's Coffee Shop in downtown Auburn and enjoys being a barista and calling out orders. She was named Champion of the Year for Best Buddies in Alabama in November 2023.She has spoken at several SepSea conferences as well as the Down Syndrome National Congress. She  has also enjoyed many book signings and book readings and loves speaking at schools. She delights in being able to share her message and encourage people to be aware of the abilities and worth of people with Down syndrome and other disabilities.
